There are actually two plots of land for attractions in the Jurassic Park section. If you search for original concept are of the park you will see a large building to the right and purple coaster to the left. That purple coaster is located behind the Jurassic Park River Adventure show building and the Thunder Falls Terrace. If you went to Halloween Horror Nights this last year at IOA, the queque for the Fear Factor house walked right by the land where a coaster would be situated.

The other plot of land is for the helicopter adventure simulator idea. It would be behind where that Spinosaur photospot is. It's a premo-location for something. That would take out that rather dull stroll between Lost Continent and JP.

That's cool, do you know of any website that would have these original concept arts?

Not off the top of my head. If I remember correctly it was on these boards a while back, and it might also be at IOACentral. I know that if you look a bit though you can find it.

If Universal does decide to put in a wooden coaster...... how big do you think it would be? Same size as Gwazi (one track of course)? Bigger? Smaller? :hammer:

They don't have that much space in the area where the proposed coaster would probably go. That is the main reason why I doubt a woodie would go behind the River Adventure because woodies take up a great deal of space compared to a steel. Fliers are smaller coaster anyway, about the size that would fit back there. If a woodie is built though, it would not in any way be bigger then quazi. It would probably only be 50 or 60 foot high... MAYBE 70. It would be low to the ground most of the time also, which would keep the speed up throughout the ride, and also enhance the feeling of speed. BUT the same thing can be said about a flier. There is really no telling what will happen except, barring some strange circumstances, JP will be getting the next addition. Marvel is WAY too crowded and they need to draw people to the back of the park.

Yes, almost since the park opened there has been discussion about either a coaster or a Helicopter ride at Jurassic Park. But that doesn't mean much, Disney even released pictures of a coaster going over Dinosaur Bones before AK opened.

well with B+M having built fantastic coasters in this wicked park why not with the sucess of air at alton towers build this bird cage coaster thing. I think it would be pretty cool. I mean air is... great! and IOA's theming = an excellent coaster.
