Coming in 2008, an exotic jungle where discovery and exploration invite guests to connect with the world around them, this jungle is Jungala.
This 4-acre attraction will invite visitors to discover new creatures, explore a village hidden in the jungle and connect with the inhabitants of the lush landscape through up-close animal interactions, multi-story family play areas, and attractions. The lush landscapes include waterfalls, grand trees, and many surprises along the way from entering the grand clearing with a rock formation to the treetops where guests can explore.
Jungala’s attractions include animal exhibits featuring the formerly displaced Bengal tigers and orangutans in brand new habitats which can be viewed from different levels, (on ground level, under ground, or in the sky with the tree house), as well as brand new animals such as Acrobatic gibbons, and flying foxes located in equally good enclosures.
Some new rides are a tower attraction holding 16 people, that’s what mark rose said, and a zip line glider attraction going in 3 different lines. Both of which will be exciting for the younger non thrill-seeking visitors.
Jungala will also feature two new restaurants. The Bengal Bistro will be a newly remodeled version of the popular Vivi Restaurant, The all-new Orang Café will offer seasonal entrées, salads and sandwiches, premium snacks and expanded children’s menus for hungry explorers of all ages.
This whole new world will open in the spring of 2008.
