Hello everyone. I have been lurking on the site for months and have had a few comments and answers. I truly enjoy reading all of the comments and trip reports etc.. Thank you to everyone that posts and comments and shares photos. It just makes it seem like we are so close to the parks to see them all. We have been to the world 5 times over they years but we always plan only 5-6 months in advance and always with our teenage son and his friends. We are planning on taking our 2 granddaughters (10 and 6) in 2022 for their first ever trip. I would like to start booking everything and making a few plans. I guess the question I have is are we too early ? is 12 months a good time or are we just excited and jumping the gun HAHA

We like to plan a year out! I like to pay over time and this allows us to. For our July trip, we didn't book until January once I knew that we would be able to get vaccinated, but typically, I like to book early.

With the park reservation system and not knowing how far in advance ADRs will need to be made I'd book my hotel NOW. We usually start setting plans and reservations in place at least 12 months in advance. IMHO this is even more important as you'll be going during the 50th celebration

Will be booking this week although some resorts are not open. I am guessing we can make changes if more open up in the coming weeks. Thank you for the response !

If you book now you and get tickets now you can make your park reservations now and make changes later if they're available to both hotel and park reservations
