June Hours

:wave:Alright, so I know that the June hours have been posted for quite a while already. With all the high attendance recently, do you think that Disney will end up extending the park hours to normal summer hours? As of right now, all the parks are scheduled to close about 1 hour earlier than normal June hours. Or do you think that they will wait until the last second and announce extended hours as they see fit?:shrug:
All is not lost, though. If they don't extend park hours more, it's just more time for me to go back to the resort for a drink or 4.

I would suggest to "stay tuned" ... I know that's not a definative response but even the powers that be may not know if hours will be changed. During the second week of March, for example, all of the hours were extended past what was originally posted, and the extension wasn't posted until about two weeks prior. And even still, MK ended up being extended an extra hour the day of.

So don't bank on the hours changing, plan your trip accordingly, but keep your eye out constantly for possible changes. Expect (and plan) for the "worst," so to speak. The recession coupled with the variety of discounts is making it harder to estimate attendance levels.

Thanks, Dave. That's pretty much what I figured. I have done all my planning for ADRs and such according to the posted hours. Now I'll just wait and see.
Maybe shorter hours wouldn't be so bad? It would force me to relax a little more, something my DW always bugs me about on Disney trips.:lookaroun
