June Bugs!

I loved the Disney Afternoon! (When it was on). I dont watch too many of those shows anymore, though. Say, what the heck is wrong with Toon Disney, anyway? Apparently the classic cartoons that MADE the studio aren't good enough to be shown anymore. I guess they dont want to take away a show that probably airs 5 times in a day to open a time slot. Seriously, isnt this kinda sad? They dont even air Disney movies on the channel!

And June Bugs will probably be the first time in a LONG time I've seen Looney Tunes air at a decent time on cable. I am getting sick of these "cartoon cartoons". I mean, some of them are good, but do they have to be on ALL DAY?? And what happened to the Acme Hour, or the Tex Avery Show?? I haven't seen a Tex Avery cartoon (except Droopy) for ages!

Here's my dream....a channel DEVOTED to classic cartoons of the 20s 30s 40s and 50s. Mickey, Goofy, Donald, Looney Tunes, Tom and Jerry, the Tex Avery 'toons, Popeye, Betty Boop....that would be awesome! Hey, they have Boomerang, right? Thats basically just Hanna Barbera televsion cartoons from the 60s and 70s...
For obvious reasons, I doubt this would ever happen, though.:(

but it would be awesome :D

Let's see... all except Freakazoid I know are still on, because I've seen them recently. But I couldn't tell you off hand where and when. I'll have to pay attention next time the kids are watching them.

I think on the "Walt: The Man Behind the Myth" movie, Chuck Jones makes an appearance. He worked at Disney for a whort time, and remembered saying to Walt that the only position worth having was his!
