Hey Everyone,

So I"m hoping that a June 2010 trip is in the planning, But I forget when you can start booking. When does the information come out for next year? What is the deposit you put down, and when does it have to be all paid for?

It my first time making the reservations, and reading all the fine print. My mom usually does it.

Its going to be My best friend and her two sons, (13 and 10). My son (6) and me!

Ive been to WDW 4 times, my son twice. My best friend was there 2 times before. But her last time was 1992. And her boys have never been there.

Ive never been there in June, so anything is appriciated. Her 10 year old is a big star wars nut. So we are hoping to make it to see the star wars weekend. The boys want to stay in All-star movies.

Thanks in advance!

You can book a room only reservation at 499 days out. Packages will not be available until rates are released which typically happens in August. Star Wars Weekends typically occur during the last 2 weekends in May and the first two weekends in June but this can and does change from year to year.

If you would like drop me a line and I would be happy to work up some numbers for you.

My experience is that you can't book anything online (even room-only) for dates anywhere in 2010.

You can make the room-only reservations if you call on the phone though. I got a quote for off-peak dates in Jan and was quoted full peak season rates...

So, you could reserve rooms now if you want, but you'll have to pay a deposit based on full peak-season rates...

Since you can later cancel/modify your reservations without any penalties, I would suggest reserving the room(s) now and pay the full-price deposit and you can modify it later if the rates are cheaper...

We were there last year in the last week of June and caught the last day of Star Wars weekend activities. It was an awesome thing. Don't miss the parade! Autographs were fun, too!
