Over at Jaws, the main entrance building is now closed... I'm guessing for HHN. Also, not sure how long it's been up but I just noticed that the Captain Jake's sign has been put back up.

Between 9:15 and 10:30 on Sunday, I was able to do Twister, Mummy, Jaws, MIB, and E.T., the ride which I was able to get the entire vehicle to myself. :lol:

They've got a new BBQ thing going on in front of Cafe La Bamba under the Carmen's canopy where drinks and fruit were sold.

The Match of Champions - Team 3D vs. Kurt Angle & Samoa Joe. If Angle or Joe pin Brother Ray or Brother Devon, they get both TNA World Tag Team Titles and can choose a partner. If Brother Ray or Brother Devon pins Kurt Angle, that person gets his TNA World Heavyweight Championship, and if Samoa Joe is pinned, that person gets his TNA X-Division Title. Confusing, I know. :lol:

Seeing the Simpsons stuff over at BTTF just makes me sad

It's odd that BTTF was the most popular attraction at Universal Hollywood when we were there a couple of weeks ago. It was the only attraction to have a wait time over 30 minutes all day long. Unfortunatly I only got to ride it once, but it was the best attraction in that park as well. Soon T2:3D can be considered the best in both parks :lol:

They're already preparing for Hallowe'en at Jaws???!!! Isn't that really early or am I confusing HNN with something else? Just that I like the Jaws queuing area and want it to be there when we're at the studios in 3 weeks time, after all there is so much refurb at Disney and also BTTF closed and just being really selfish and want everything else near as perfect as possible.

Yeah, the ride's not closed, you just bypass that entrance and enter in that opening near the old Express Pass distribution area.

Also how do you get in on the tapings for TNA?

PPV or iMPACT! tapings?

PPV - Tickets are distributed for these. Go over to Twister and in front of its SS, around the restrooms area, there'll be a guy giving tickets out. The tickets all have numbers and you are lined up according to your number (so if you want to get a good seat then get there at park opening to get a ticket). You're free to do whatever you want until 4:30. At 4:30 you go back to the same area and then the line is set up. At 6pm you are taken backstage to wait in another line in front of SS 22. Also at this point the line parts into two - General Admission (all park guests) and VIP/UO Employees. By 7pm they start letting everyone in and the PPV preshow begins at 7:30. The show ends at 11pm.

iMPACT! tapings - No tickets, you just get in line whenever you choose to. I usually get in line around 3:30-3:45 and am only around 25-30 people back. At 5pm they let you backstage to wait in front of SS 22 and around 6:00 (I think) you are let into SS 21. The show starts sometime after that and ending time depends on what happens.

It takes them several months to get everything built. They also start planning the event right after the previous one closes. A lot of work is involved.

nemo you wanted to know what the uk thing is about. i just got back home last saturday from orlando and on my many vists to universal over the fortnight they had a lot of uk staff working there. ok back to the sign, they are giving uk vistors there own enterence away from the crowds and also handing out vouchers that give you discount in some some shops and a buy one get one free coupon for ice cream/floats/shakes. i have a pic of the voucher somewere in my case and i will dig it out and paste it up sometime within the next few days. but is it just me or has anyone noticed the sudden rise in uk workers this summer at universal.

I've been to Universal a few times this summer but I havent noticed UK workers. I went last July 1st so I guess they showed up recently.
BTW. Jaws, and Earthquake queues are having Halloween Horror Nights construction!
