Does anyone have any information, official or unofficial about anything that might be happening in Disneyland on July 17th?

miceage has an article. Click on the link and scroll down midway. Art Linkletter, Julie Andrews, and Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger are reportedly attending. And apparently they're going to pass out mouse ears and vouchers for free cupcakes, which is a good thing. Now I can wear mouse ears while throwing my free cupcake at Governor Ahnuld. :lol:

I do know that the event with the Governor Arh-nold will be held at 10:00 am, in front of the castle, with also Michael Eisner, Bob Iger, and an entertainment ensemble of 50 CMs (including DS, so anyone videotaping it?). A little trivia-ordinarily, CMs get free admission to the parks with their CM ID. Hovever, on that day, because DL is expecting so many, many guests, overwhelming attendance, they are suspending the perk for CMs.

Anybody else have any news about the 17th? I've heard a lot of rumors including a few from Michael Broggie last week, I talked to him for a few minutes at Walt's barn. He told me that it nothing was official that he would tell me, but I asked him what rumor's he's heard and he said possibly el presidente Bush.

It's amazing that they're announcing in advance that Herr Gropenfuhrer will be there. He's been getting so many protestors at public events that it's gotten to where it's being kept quiet about many of his appearences until the last moment. Wouldn't surprise me if they don't let people exchange their cupcake vouchers until he and Mikey are out of range.
