July 12-20

Background - I traveled with DH, DS (2 1/2), Aunt, Cousin, Cousin's Husband, and "Nephew," who turned 2 while we were there.

We loved the WL. We had a great room overlooking the river that lead to the pool. We had a newly renovated room, the tv was wicked cool. I just wasn't a fan of the shower, I never really felt as though I got rinsed off enough. We were also slightly disappointed in the food court. There was very little selections and only a handful of tables. I guess I got used to the food courts at the values.

The weather was HOT. But were able to go back every afternoon for a swim and put the boys down for a good nap.

Everest was awesome, don't skip it. We only were able to do it once, I wish we had time to do it again.

Magic Kingdom was by far our favorite park, we went there 3 times. It's a Small World was DS's favorite, after the 5th time I finally said NO MORE. He also liked the Pirates, Pooh, Buzz and Peter Pan rides. We also saw the night parade at the MK twice because the boys enjoyed it so much. Also we loved the fireworks and I finally saw Tinkerbell. We spent some time meeting characters and getting autographs.

We spent 1 full day at MGM and split the AK and Epcot. We did each of them 2ce but only spent 1/2 days there (AK morning and Epcot evenings)

We ate at some great sit-down restaurants. Here's some info in case you want info on any of them.

Animal Kingdom - Breakfastosaourus - great food, wide selection, little character interaction.

ESPN (dinner) - exactly what we knew it to be, good burgers and salads.

Beach Club Resort - Cape May Cafe (dinner) - this was a bit of a shock to us, how GREAT it was. It's listed as a clam bake, but I don't like seafood. There was steak, pastas, salads, plenty of sides and an amazing dessert buffet. We left there ready to explode from eating so much even DS ate alot, there was chicken fingers and macaroni too.

Grand Floridian Resort- 1900 Park Fare (dinner) - We didn't think there was as much to choose from compared to Cape May, but the quality was a bit better, they had Prime Rib. We celebrated nephew's birthday here

MGM - Hollywood and Vine (breakfast) - This was for the boys. It was Playhouse Disney characters. This buffet did not have as big of a selection, but we payed for the characters. This was very fun, the characters danced around the restaurant and we got alot of character interaction.

MGM - Mama Melrose (Fantasmic dinner package) - the food was alright nothing special. But it was nice for us to not have to worry about getting a seat at the show it was so busy it was a huge time saver for the little ones.

EPCOT - Canada (dinner) - this will never disappoint us. the cheese soup is to die for.

Magic Kingdom - Liberty Tree Tavern - Yumm, Thanksgiving food. We did this on the last day and DS was hugging and kissing all the characters (Goofy, Chip, Dale, Minnie and Pluto).

Do you have any pics of your trip? Maybe even of the food?

(I've always wanted to go to WDW and take a picture of my meal before I eat it so I can keep track of all the fun little details...)

Thanks for the post!
