Ours doesn't... But the newest version of the attraction in Texas does...

Yes, but the version in Texas sucks. That's the only ride I've ever seen get worse and worse with each new version.

To be shared amongst those that helped you win it :animwink:

Sure.... I'll mail it to your houses! My sister will get 50 dollars as well. My aunt is so sure the ride goes backwards that she bet with me and my sister. If she wins, each of us has to give her 50 dollars. We'll ride it together, and then she'll pay us!!!

And lately, Seaworld seems to be the only franchise of parks that seems to be getting dumber and dumber with their expansion plans (i.e. Aquatica, Texas' Journey to Atlantis, Orlando's Happy Harbor expansion)...

Well, it's done!!! I've bet 50 dollars with my aunt. She says that you think the ride will end, and then suddenly the boat goes backwards, and goes into the coaster part. I really don't remember anything like this in Journey to Atlantis.

I've ridden Florida's JTA many times and no where does it go backwards. You win an easty $50 from your aunt. Now if you figure out the storyline for me, I will give you $5. :)

What's dumb about Aquatica?? I'm counting down the days until it opens!!!!It's gonna be an awesome waterpark!

I actually have no problem with their expansion plans in Florida, elsewhere I do, but not here. They weren't going to build another theme park, but if aquatica is as good as it looks it'll bring some good money into that area for the parks, and the new kiddie area will help bring more and more families into the park to stay longer spending more money. My only main beef with the parks is the sad state of affairs that they've apparently let journey turn into with many broken effects. I'd like to see a new adult ride, but the park has never really been about rides.

An adult ride will be coming sooner than later, at least that's what research has been asking about in the past few weeks.

Aquatica is a great idea. With Wet n' Wild possibly closing to move over to Universal for two years, why not open up something new? The water park will have a new twist that no other h2o park in Otown will have, animals!

I know JTA hasn't been kept up with at 100%, but it's running, as is Kraken, and it runs well. SeaWorld is known for it's animals, not rides. Happy Harbor was a great addition over the past two years, more family friendly. No, coaster fans don't like it because it's not hardcore B&M fun, but it's there for the families!

AB 4 seems to be heading in the right direction with this... We'll wait and see what happens.

I just found it to be a bit gimmicky when I posted that. Since then, I have taken a closer look at the site and the design of the park, and if it is true to its promises in design, attraction and beauty, then I will be a supporter, upgrading my Seaworld/Busch Gardens annual pass to include Aquatica...
