I don't think we can pass complete judgement until the entire attraction is done, though what I'm seeing now leaves something to be desired. This is such low-hanging fruit in a prominent area of the park. A botancial garden connecting the front of the park and World Showcase may have been better.

Was at Epcot yesterday and the only thing that looks more horrible then all the walls up is the lack of decorations. Except for cutouts of some characters, the entrance is lacking big time. The walkway to WS has almost nothing but cutout presents and balls with dull colors. WS and the holiday food booths look good.
To tie it back in to the current conversation, you notice the construction walls so much more with the lack of holiday decorations to take your eyes off of them.

That’s just the tricky part. What will be there will be much better, the area was so barren and stuck in 90’s Burger King aesthetic before.

But also the clear the lack of plan & cohesion makes this project seem like a consultation prize. Compare this to something as extensive & transformative as Buena Vista Street in DCA, you have to be a lil peeved that adding a park, Splash pad & some simple building remodels took this long. It is what it is though, can’t wait for the area to open.
