Josh:

We expect WDW biz to be in a lull as a result of the 50th celebration being over.

International parks all doing well and increasing.

WRT "yield management software" brought online with Covid.

Josh explains what it is with reservations. It's been productive. It'll help navigate economic headwinds. We know who's coming and when. And can respond with price changes (up and down) to adjust crowds and staffing.

WRT managing BIG DATA you gather on guests.

Josh: Yes, we do have a lot of data on guests.

We need to sync data better between divisions. E.g., what can we do for an ESPN fan who's in the parks.

WRT guests finding it's more work to successfully do the parks. How to make it easier.

Josh: What we have to offer is hugely complex and that in itself is a level of difficulty. The internet tools we provide are trying to make that easier.

We do try to have more inexpensive options (at certain times of the year [which means off-peak]).

We're still investing in technology. And look at ops changes. E.g. relaxing some reservations requirements.

WRT new lands, new cruise ships... what capital do you have to make that happen?

Josh: our ambitions are still the same. We have sophisticated capex plans. We're always looking to add capacity with more attractions. Investing in tech to manage things. Investing in maintenance.

Can US parks grow in footprint?

Josh: We have lots of options to increase capacity and footprint. Gives examples of stuff we know is coming.

Studios create new content that can be leveraged into the parks.

Whatabout Starcruiser?

Josh: explains what it is (was). Guests liked it. Didn't perform in the way we wanted, so decided to sunset it. We're acceleration depreciation on that in Q3 and Q4.
