Didn't know where to put this, but I thought some of you'd like to see it. Mods, feel free to move it to it's proper location.
The modern world is a discriminating, hard-to-please place now, so obviously when the first photo of Johnny Depp as Tonto came out, everyone instantly started bashing it. I just laughed. I knew what had happened. I guessed the Johnny was probably researching Native American Indian culture, saw a picture of an old Shaman with a dead bird on his head, and thought, 'Oh yeah!' Turns out, I was close. No conformation, but y'all check this out. I was searching the internet for a project of my own, and found this. Ironic, wouldn't you say? Not nessisarilly a picture in an old book, but never-the-less, a painting you know Johnny saw, and was like, 'Oh yeah,' lol! I'll post a link to the original site below.
