How family friendly is JL. Looking at the menu, I don't think my kids (11 and 9) would really enjoy anything there. Seems like it's more of a bar than restaurant, though I would love to check it out.

From what I've heard it is more of a bar than a restaurant, kind of like Trader Sam's where there are some snack/bar types of food items.

Definitely more of a bar. Extensive drink memu, minimal food options. Plus, pretty much everything on the menu is spicy to some degree (except the pretzels, although they come with spicy mustard). I wouldn't recommend taking kids there.

Was there last week. I was surprised how small it was inside. You could walk though and let the kids look around, but it's crowded!

It is a bar, not a restaurant. There are only snacks on the menu.

During the daytime, it is very family friendly. Especially outside on the rear deck.

There is easily enough food on the menu to make it a dinner, and some options that would work well for most kids. It is primarily a bar/lounge however, and not a restaurant.

It's a bar... Much better options for 9 and 11 year olds...For sure...
