Jobs @ Disney

Does anyone know a lot about jobs at Disney and how to get one? I'm looking at word of mouth info, not the website. This may be just me dreaming, but since we had so much fun in Florida, my boyfriend wants to move there. I have always wanted to work for Disney anyways but am not sure where to start. I am a new attorney in MI and don't want to take the bar again in Florida, but I would do it if we moved. I would need a different area to work in until then but my dream would be to eventually work in Disney's legal department. Where would I start if I were serious about working there?

All non-hourly (buisness management, legal, etc.) jobs are posted at http://www.disneycareers.com. These would probably be the jobs you'd be most interested in. If you're looking for standard, hourly jobs (attractions, merchandise, foodservice), call the WDW Jobline at 407-828-1000.

Disney does look for 2 main things when hiring attorneys. One is if u got your Law Degree from a top school. They love the grads from Harvard,Yale,Duke etc(THE BIGGER THE BETTER).Another thing is prior experience as a Corp Lawyer with a top company like Kraft,Fed Ex,Nabisco, etc. is very helpful as well.Disneycareers.com is the best place to look for legal positions.

Add-on questions

I was perusing the board and noticed this question. I just applied for a Learning and Development Consultant position through the Web site with the Disney College Program, but wonder if there is more that can/should/needs to be done as well. Disney recently revamped their job site, and it seems to take minimal input other than a formatted resume and an EEO form. Would it be beneficial, in anyone's opinion, to send hard copies to the Program department or to Casting? Or is that a waste of postage? I've been to the World too many times and had cast members tell me to move and work my way up, but that's not a realistic option. Thanks in advance for any feedback.
