wait you can work at disney when your 16? i heard somebody at the disney store you can work for disney when you are 16, and could get room and board . I am 17 and would love to work there. how do you get the job, what type of jobs, and do they provide room and board? I thought it was just college kids(college programs, as well as over 18 crowd) Thanks :) i would love to work for disney , but i live in il, and with out the college program, or room and board i couldnt work there

The housing and transportation provided for the workers is for the CP students. The minimum requirements are that you are a current student, 18+, and in good standing with your school. You can find more info at www.wdwcollegeprogram.com.

Yes, I do believe you can start working at Disney at 16. But housing and transportation are not provided.

The technical answer is yes. It depends where you'd like to work and the local restrictions that are in play. At WDW, 16 and 17 year olds have certain restrictions with regard to scheduling and the sale/service of alcohol and tobacco, but that aside they can (and are) brought on board. You must be able to provide your own housing and transportation. Apply with WDW Casting if interested.

Having said that, Disney does not house anyone under the age of 18, and all housing is dedicated for the exclusive use of Disney College, CareerStart and International Program participants.
