Jingle bam vs Osborne lights

My opinion is that it is a pointless discussion, as the lights are gone and never coming back. Doesn't matter that the new "show" is crappy - which seems to be the majority opinion. All it will do is get people's dander up over something that we'll never get see again. JMHO.
I don't like that I agree with you but I do :(

I have to say I really enjoyed the show. Comparing it to the lights is like comparing apples and pears.

Having read these boards before the trip I almost cancelled our dessert party booking and went in with low expectations, but really glad we didn't. I thought it was a great show with a good amount of fireworks (obviously it's not a firework show but enough there to entertain) and probably the best use of lasers I have seen. Finally the snow at the end (and the fact they kept it snowing all down the street whilst blasting out Christmas carols for 15 mins after the show) was a great "kiss goodnight".

Plus if nothing else it was nice to see a new show (we have seen all the other ones a few years ago).

Having said all this I admit we did the party so if I didn't have a few cocktails and a good viewing spot without having to wait for 2 hours I would probably feel differently!

We did the dessert party too. I didn't seriously consider canceling, but I was a tad nervous after reading all of the horrible reviews here.

Like I said, we enjoyed it. I think if people are Prep and Landing fans they will..or anyone who just likes cool projections and great lasers.

Most people online didn't understand the name and thought it was a reference to fireworks..I think if you go into it know that it is a P&L cute show then you won't be disappointed.

I actually enjoyed the Jingle Bells, Jingle Bam show. I don't think we should even try to compare it to Osborne Lights. However, it was a nice change to see a holiday show in the park and a break from all of the Star Wars merchandising, etc.

I absolutely loved and adored the Osborne Lights, and honestly I still am sad when I think that they are gone forever. However, hubby and I saw Jingle Bam on Thanksgiving night and thought it was a really cute show. We did the dessert party and had a blast the cast members were so friendly and joked around with us. When we left to go to the viewing area about 10 minutes before the show started Santa Goofy came over and started messing with us as we left. When we got to the viewing area everyone was bunched up at the front of the viewing area and there were very few people at the back. Hubby and I had a great view and had plenty of space to dance around. It is no Osborne lights, but they aren't coming back so Jingle BAM! was fun.

When we were leaving the dessert party Santa Goofy gave my son a high 5 and just kept handing him gingerbread cookies l.. he ended up with about 6 of them.lol. It was really cute!

Jingle Bell Jingle Bam is a good show to fill an open nighttime show slot but not to fill in a display like the Osborne lights. There two different unrelated attractions all together.
