Yes my dear Jimmy fans, old Jimmy is back, fresh from another trip to my personal favorite vacation destination. I bring you nothing but my famous wit and style, and the real news about the parks because, as I like to say, I actually go there regularly.

With that being said, lets start my findings.

* First off, Southwest airlines is simply the best airlines in the sky, flying anyone else is a complete waste of time, money and personal satisfaction. I paid around 140 dollars round trip with no stops, had great customer service and no hidden fees. Unless Southwest does not fly out of your city, I feel bad for you.

* The parks were not that bad people wise, until yesterday, I would say it was busier in December.

* Toy Story Midway Mania is still the king of attractions, I didn't see a wait under an hour the whole week. I did have the luxury of avoiding the long lines this trip and shamelessly took advantage. While I cannot reveal how this came to pass, I might have use this feature in the future, its a real time saver.

* I always try to be in Disney's corner, but after experiencing the Disney Magical Express and busing system is rather putrid. You waste way to much time waiting you could totally make a vacation go by WAY to fast. After half a day of this nonsense, I quickly rented a car.

* I had to ADR's on Tuesday for dinner, Lecellier at 6pm, and Coral Reef at 6:15, I was deciding with my beautiful wife in front of LeCellier and a gentleman asked me since I had two ADR's if he could use the one I didn't use. I flipped a coin and gave him the LeCellier one, I had 2 more stashed during the week. I explained to the person at the desk and made someones day. I also had the jumbo scallops at Coral Reef, so there were no losers indeed.

* Kouzzina. I seriously hope people don't come to there senses and pack this place. I hope people continue to think LeCellier, California Grill and the other signature dining are the best places at Disney World. I ate there 3 times, 3 times it was amazing. The service still needs work.

* Speaking of service, Italy has the best. Last December I had a server named Leonardo, and while I did not have him this time, he did walk past us and remembered us, stopped and talked for a bit. He was still charming and personable. I forgot our servers name this trip, but he was still at an extremely high level of service, and got a 25 dollar tip on a 57 dollar bill.

* Had trouble noticing all the burned out lights people like to pretend they notice. Honestly I didn't see anything not in great shape or functioning at a high standard, with the exception of the bus system. People might have to post pictures or I will have to call bullcrap.

* Every interaction with cast members was amazing as well, at the expense of people waiting behind others, the cast members were the usual Disney standard, and some very memorable.

* CoP is really showing its age, and I feel it has far outlived it due date, it needs to go to the old attraction graveyard in the sky.

* Buzz is still one of my favorite rides anywhere, for some odd reason the ride seemed more bright and vivid than I remembered.

* I did notice a few times Test Track had a longer wait than Soarin', which I found pretty shocking. In fact Soarin' didn't really have the long waits it used to have. It said 50 minutes, but was more around 15.

* After we got our rental, we headed over to the Magic Kingdom and saw what appeared to be a vagrant walking down the road towards the Contemporary. By the time we caught up to him, Disney Security was everywhere and the guy was ferried into one of those vans. Talk about breaking the illusion.

* People like to whine about how the rides are made on the cheap now, but take the Grand Fiesta Tour for example. When it was El Rio de Tiempo, a original Epoct attraction, it was never busy, and it was always a walk on. They change it out with cheap high def tv's and all of a sudden it always has a wait. Yeah, those cheap people at Disney don't have any clue. :dazzle:

All and all, it was a great Valentines present from my wife, and I enjoyed it, not to mention getting away from the cold of Wisconsin. For those of you who don't go, take the person you love the most and spend a few nights there, you'll be glad you did.

Jimmy Thick- I'll be going back in May...

Thanks for your thoughts, although I really don't agree with your views on CoP, sure it is dated, but I think that is part of the charm for me!

We always fly Southwest - Providence, RI to Orlando non-stop 2 & 1/2 hours, which is just long enough for us - we aren't great travelers. I have never had a complaint. Boy, Southwest sure is a lot better than the old days of Eastern Airlines - ugh! Usually we have one of the flight attendants singing at the end of our flight, too! One once was the granddaughter of Dale Evans and she sang "Happy Trails to You". By did that bring me back! Around the holidays they sang different holiday songs, all with excellent voices. We all end up clapping they are so good!! Easy to online book & change flights and no baggage fees, either.

On our last trip in December of 09, like 1/3 of the Christmas tree in Epcot was out. Amazingly enough, we still had a good time and enjoyed our vacation. Are light bulbs that serious for some folks?

Southwest has no hidden fees, your price for the flight is your price you pay, not like at United or American or whatever crappy competitor they have tries to do. Price a flight from you city with Southwest and then any competitor. Sat the price one way from Southwest is 79 dollar, and a competitor has the same price. After all of the fees, its usually in the 150-200 dollar range for a one way flight.

Thats the things that make flying in this day and age a pointless exercise, unless you fly Southwest.

Jimmy Thick- I'll be damned, here comes your ghost again...

Nice report Jimmy. Gotta disagree on CoP as well. It is aged, but thats what I like about it.

CoP, in my opinion, is way too dated for the current times and it has served its purpose. I went to it this last trip for the first time in quite some time and was wondering why I decided to go.

Its done, it deserves a regal farewell.

I stayed at the Contemporary, and saw nothing of the sort, and my vision is 20/15. Iam sorry I don't believe this, if all these lights are out like people like to claim, I would have saw it.

From now on, post pics, otherwise, I simply do not believe it.

I had the singing attendant once before, she was a small woman with black hair who sang Goodnight Sweetheart to us all when we landed in Chicago.

Jimmy Thick- Goodnight sweetheart its time to go...

Its only important to people who don't go to the parks and need something to complain about. Now, I don't actually know why it would bother them, but I went looking for these mysterious burnt out lights and failed to see them.

Go figure.

Jimmy Thick- I see a line of cars and there all painted black...
