My wife and I are huge fans of Jim Shore and we really bummed that we missed his signing last December. My question is this...Does he do an artist signing every year, and if so will he be back again this year?

We're a big Jim Shore family, too. We have quite a few of his Disney pieces, actually.
When we were there at The World in the fall, they had a Jim Shore Cinderella's Castle.... We didn't get it, and ever since returning home, I haven't been able to find it anywhere.. Is it a theme park exclusive, or what?

Any info would be appreciated...

PS : what's your favorite Shore piece? Mine at the moment is the Peter Pan and The Darling Children flying over London pieces!!!

The Castle is indeed a Theme Park exclusive. It's absolutely beautiful and well worth the price. I have numerous Jim Shore pieces, and love them all!

I collect certain Tinkerbell figures, but I have two Jim Shore Tinkerbells that husband gave me and I just love them. I do wish I had purchased the Darling children over London though.

Choosing a favorite is hard for me because I love all of them! If I had to choose though, I would probably say that the seasonal figures are my favorites. Some of my favorites in this line are... Halloween: Mickey dressed as a vampire. Minnie dressed as a witch sitting on top of a pumpkin. Christmas: Donald tangled up in Christmas lights Mickey and Minnie dressed up as Santa and Mrs. Claus I also really love the patriotic figures, especially the one with Mickey,Donald and Goofy crossing the Delaware and the ones inspired by The Spirit Of 76. I would also love to have the old piece he did of Wynken, Blynken and Nod(one of my favorite Disney shorts) I also love the one of the Seven Dwarfs walking across the log bridge. We only have two pieces and I love both of them, one is of Jiminy Cricket and the other has Mickey and Minnie dressed as the couple from American Gothic.
