Add one more person who doesn't like the fat hairy guy. I've never really liked this guy, but that's just IMHO. So please don't flame me. I'm also one who doesn't appreciate JMH either.

Wait a minute Lee, "the man?". Ummm, DON'T THINK SO ON THAT ONE!!!
Not only is he NOT the man, he wouldn't know the truth if it ran up and bit him. Talk about vicious, and false I might add, attacks, he's the king of them. I certainly hope you aspire to more than that Lee. If not, God help you.

Now, I've got something to say about all of this "sensitivity" I keep reading about here. I mean, I am NO fan of Jim Hill. I don't like negatives about Disney either. But reality is, there are negatives. And sometimes, they need to be discussed, debated, and solved. But further, it concerns me when people who voice a differing opinion from the "crowd" are labeled mean, ugly, hacks, mean-spirited, etc. etc. Why is that? Where is all the "open-mindedness?"

And if I might say once again, that in the original article I saw nothing that could be construed as an attack against Grizz. He was given some information and was asked for his support. He read thru this information, and give his opinion as to why he didn't necessarily agree with the views of Grizz on this particular subject. Had he not responded at all, I'm sure we'd see 15pages of insults directed his way regarding his disinterest in even acknowledging the article or the issue.

Give it a rest already people.

Boat ride attendance?

Grizz -

I have a question about the popularity you've seen at the Land Boat ride/attraction.

Here's my observation, strictly from a park guest perspective. Years ago, it seemed that boat after boat would pull up to load. In fact, while one was loading, usually another was waiting and a third was unloading.

Now, whenever I'm in the Land, I see an occasional boat come up, unload/load and head off. Then it may be a minute or two before another boat comes in.

Queues are shorter, but still take 15 minutes wait time (or so), with apparently far fewer boats in the channel. I have to think ride utilization is way, way down from what it once was.

Would you agree with that, or am I just visiting at really quiet times?

Maybe Grizz can give you a better answer, but when i was there (this July), there was always two boats there at any given time (one loading, one unloading). When did you visit?

I am not sure - perhaps you were on an off-season and less boats were being used? I know I didn't see this in August when I last rode the attraction.

Regardless, the attendance - not just the waits - show LwtL to be one of the most popular Future World attractions. . .

I will get you accurate information if I can track it down. :)

Kitchen Kabaret, I loved that show!!
Veggie, Veggie, Fruit Fruit!! Veggie, Fruit, Fruit!! LOL

You know, it just occurred to me that the "veggie vegie fruit fruit" refrain is *still* used as a catch-phrase by my family.

And it's been a while since we all four went to Disney together.

But then, my family is wonderfully, deliciously weird. :p
