Jiko Restaurant, what to order?

One Little Spark...
Reminds me of the Mushroom soup (don't have the name offhand) appetizer at Artist Point. We told the waiter one of the times we ate there how much we liked it and he came back to table with the recipe for it. 3 PAGES Long! A whole page/page and a half just for ingredients and another 2 pages for the instructions of how to prepare it! I still have it as a keepsake but that's it. Lol Needless to say we never tried it at home and just visit AP for our fix. Lol! :bookworm:
If you could scan that in and send it to me, I'd greatly appreciate it! I haz the patience (sometimes) for these signature remakes! The issue I have with a lot of the "official" disney recipes is that they need to be scaled down for proper "family" portions, which is something I've done with my Disney knock offs.

It might be in our storage unit in a storage tote (climate controlled of course wouldn't want anything I keep there to get messed up lol) with some of my older Disney stuff. We got it back in 2008. If I get a chance I will look for it, and if I do find it I will definately scan it and upload for you. I know I kept it but just don't remember if it's here still or in the unit. :)

No need to go out of your way, but I'd love to play with the recipe! If you happen upon it, just scan it and shoot me a PM. Thanks!

Don't worry I knew you wouldn't want me searching endlessly! Lol I'll skim around my Disney stuff still here when I have some free time and see if I come across it. I even remember the expandable file folder I put it in but don't remember where that file folder is! Sheesh! Lol I have been re organizing my house so if it's here im bound to come across it one of these days! :cyclops::joyfull:

If I can wade through 3 pages of instructions, I can certainly wait for them to come up as you clean up! Hahaha!

Off topic real quick:
Ever since I was forced by my job to start working at home and needed a space for my work area it took away valuable storage space/guest bedroom. So now I'm trying to declutter and organize in our 1200 sq ft house that is now home to my work office, home office/workout area, and our bedroom. It's been interesting! But it will get done I just can't give up! Okay sorry had to vent for a second! Lol
..Now back to topic.... :)

I also would say skip the filet. It was good but I've had better steaks. I got it with the menu accompaniments, which I did like quite a bit- honestly mac and cheese is not very exciting to me!
We also liked the lamb two ways, very tender and good flavors.
For apps we tried the Inguday tibs and the duck spring roll-both were good.
I thought the food was good but I'm not really in a hurry to go back, believe it or not. I think I expected way too much.

As a puma I highly recommend the beef filet with the mac & cheese as a side. The pork chop and lamb 2 ways are also very good.

I would second the filet with mac n cheese. It wasn't on the menu when we went last time but they were happy to make it for me! Also the Kenyan coffee creme brulee was amazing!
