So , I understand that the frist week in Nov. is New Jersey week, due to the 2(1/2) day week for all schools in New Jersey, a lot of people go to the world(right?) My Family is going, we've been planning the trip for a bit now, but we've only lived in New Jersey for a little under a year, so we were suprised (but found it funny that its called that) when we heard that..

So, anyone else going then? do you think the crowds will be bad? I've never been that time of year

We went last year, and it was sort of crowded (compared to when we usually go in December).

From what I understand, the crowds are building to where it's always somewhat crowded, so it may not make that much difference.

It also seems to get worse by the end of the week.

Have fun!

Yup, the crowds are really starting to even out, and keep the parks crowded most of the year. I think the least crowded time to go is in Sept, or the middle of Jan. Have fun, the crowds shouldn't be too bad.

Jersey Week

We used to go during this week as it was not very crowded. Boy did that change last year. The wait times last year were about 50-70 minutes up from 15-30 in prior years. There are more and more NJ people joining DVC and with the packages offered this week is not a "slow" as it used to be. We did find the wait times at Universal, IOA and Seaworld the same as years past. This year we decided to go 1 week later.

Is it the first week in November as in 5th - 9th???

Yes, all public schools in NJ are off at least the 8&9th. Then with Monday Veterans Day, it's going to be fun! We don't normally go at all when the rest of NJ is there because of airfare. They sky rocket the fares for that week. But this year we are going on Saturday the 10th, and staying the entire week, so our airfare was fine. No kids to worry about missing school, so we were flexible.

Don't forget the extra crowds at DHS due to the Super Soap Weekend. I believe that is usually the second weekend of November. (Not to mention the food and Wine Festival at EPCOT)

I have heard that. I have also heard that NJ is the single largest out of state draw for WDW, but I have never seen that verified.

I have been in Nov, but not for a while, My kids will be down, but with my ex during that week.
