As many have said above, its a great time and I'd recommend going. No specific specialty drinks but full bar and the performers are fun. The crowd really can make/break the night seeing the performers take requests from the crowd- so your choices make the show.

I hit Jellyrolls every trip

Newly 21 here, can someone explain to me JellyRolls in a bit more detail? They have Piano Players and dancing?
So it is kinda dueling pianos, but not like a competition. There are 2 piano players that switch off with 2 others every hour, to give them a rest. When you first get there, you will be given a stack of napkins and a pen. You write down one or more songs that you would like them to perform. If you want them to play the song(s), you will need to add money to the napkin. Usually $1 - $5 per song, but you can add more, and that can get it played a lot sooner. You then take the napkin and money to one of the players. They'll look at it, decide if it can be done at all (if not, they will tell you, and give you the option to either select a different song, or come up and get your money back). If you go early, you have a much better chance to hear your song, as with all of the requests over the course of the evening, they cannot play them all (and you will not be getting your money back if they don't play your song). They are tips to the players.

While playing the songs they are OK with you joining in with them (lots of people do), and they play certain songs every night that they want everybody to help them sing. Of course, a lot of them you'll just want to listen to them sing. They also get the servers on stage for a few songs that you can stand up and dance to. If you don't know, just follow the servers to see what you need to do. There is a lot of audience interactions with the players all throughout the night.

Certain songs need to be "earned" (such as Bohemian Rhapsody) by the crowd joining in. If the crowd is lame, they usually won't play it. If the crowd is into everything, you get to hear it. There are no fast and hard rules on that, just what they feel like doing that night. There are also certain artists that they may not play very much from (such as Taylor Swift since they say that she releases a new song every 5 minutes, and they can't keep up), but they will let you know.

Of course this whole time you can be drinking whatever you would like. The specials in the big red glasses are the best deals, and they are posted at the bars. Be careful though! They do have bouncers, and will not tolerate certain rude or obnoxious behavior (at least when we have been there). We have seen people walked out and not let back in.

It is a really good time, but you have to get into it, just like when you go to a place like 50's Prime Time Café. If you just sit there like a lump, you probably won't have any fun. If you like to sing along and occasionally dance, then you will have a great time.

Sweet that sounds really cool thanks for filling me in! I know downtown they have places that do this. How good is their song knowledge, I like old jazz standards and Broadway stuff, any chance they may know some staples?

$10 bought me and my wife a Shake it off/Rainbow connection combo. Started with Shake it off. Which was awesome, followed by Rainbow Connection which was better. Best $10 I spent the whole trip.

Pretty extensive. Never hurts to ask.
