Hello folks. In the world now. After luckily leaving massachusetts before the snow storm hit! Only negative of our flight was that we had to taxi for a long time once we arrived at MCO. They blamed it on the wether up north canceling many flights and messing the system up, which is understandable.
My girlfriend and I are staying at the Swan. At first I was unsure how it would be because it is not owned by Disney, but they do an amazing job here. I had heard many people saying it is not as magical, but I so far I think they do a better job then some of the other resorts. The customer service here is amazing. We recieved a free room upgrade and have a balcony that we can view wishes and Illuminations. I actually watched them both from the balconoy tonight and it was a very clear sight.
The resort is more than I could ask for. The comfiest beds, great service, the amentities are amazing. The food so far has also been amazing. They have a 24 hour dining room, which I always wished some other resorts would have. So far I love it.
We went to MK for a little bit and all I can say is that it is PACKED. I went last year the week after christmas and into NYE. I have to say that I think today was busier, besides NYE last yr, there was long waits for everything. But the decorations do look amazing. Walking onto Main Street, while it was snowing was better this year than ever. I have never heard so many Kids get so excited and ask there parents how it is snowing in florida. The Disney magic is still here.
