Am the only one who saw this movie and loved it? I saw it today and I honestly think it is one of the best movies I have seen. And the ending just blows you away! Check out the DVD... it's great! I just don't understand why it got such bad reviews! (Which goes to show why I never let other people define my opinion). Seriously, I want to hear some honest real person reviews here. Praise it, tear it apart... w/e. Btw... there's a sequel coming out in 2003... I can't wait! :sohappy:

The first half of the movie is totally awesome and very creepy. A lot of the creepiness comes from all of the mystery of whats going on. It all goes downhill, IMO, about halfway through the movie, when you actually see the demon creature only to discover that its not scary looking at all, and its whole concept is stupid - It can fly, yet it drives a huge truck sometimes! and nothing about it is ever explained. IMO, the movie would have been much better if the monster was replaced with something more believable, like a phsycho killer.

This seems to be the feelings of most everyone. I personally thought the Creeper was one of the freakiest villains I've ever seen. The reviews at least usualy gave the movie that. But what about that ending? *Shivers*

I kinda agree... I got disappointed when the truck driver turned out to be a demon. And the ending WAS creepy. I didn't exactly loved it, but it was different and creepy, so it was good. I'm definately getting the DVD and I'm waiting for the sequel.

Easily one of the worst horror movies I've ever seen. The story sucked and the ending was even worse...I mean c'mon a demon? How disapointing was that? It had potential but just went south after the drain pipe scene. The bodies lining the walls and ceiling was the only decent part of the movie. Maybe if they added a little T&A and rather than having a demon have a deranged granny. :D And I would have liked to see both of the main characters dead by the end.

Well, you get half your wish... Besides, it's a franchise. WHo knows what may happen next. I think this is a movie where you have to wait for the series to end before you have a complete story.

Are you implying a sequel for Jeepers Creepers? Someone shoot me! The demon is mysterious but too poor of a character to ever carry any sequels.

I didnt find the ending all that scary either. He ate the kids eyes, thats all.

Personally, I think the movie would have been better if you never actually got a full glance at the killer. But then, others would complain that you didn't see anything, like in the Blair Witch Project (which I actually find creepier than any other horror movie released lately). You just can't please people with horror movies anymore.

The Blair Witch Project was very poor. So was Jeepers Creepers. Some folks even liked Dinosaur. Just seems to me that there are many more people without a clue. There is no accounting for taste.

Yeah... Josh. It's a franchise. The 2nd movie comes out in 2003. I think we should wait for a complete story before really judging it. The best part of this movie was that it was a break from slasher films, which were all too abundant when it came out (And still are). BTW, Justin Long (Darry) is on the cast list for the second movie... I think we may get some serious answers...

Ok, I saw this movie in spite of the fact that I actually read all of the reviews for it at www.movies.com . I had some time on my hands in the afternoon one day and it was the only thing I hadn’t already seen that I was sure nobody I knew would want to see and call me crazy but there is something about movies that are over the edge bad that I like… This one was a disappointer at both ends of the spectrum for me. As other people said, I think it started off strong like something with a real story but half way or less through the movie it took a drastic turn. Was there a writers strike at the time this script was being revised that resulted in half of it being written by executives or something?.. It was like the whole thing totally unraveled... It went from being a potentially good movie to being a complete mess. The “old” lady? What was she? Mid 40’s – 50’s? How about that modernized version of the song (sticks tough in mouth) and what was up with the guy who gets killed at the police station? “Hey, the stairwell’s dark so he must not be there so I’ll turn around and face everyone behind me” the plot was… swiss cheese… It’s like the Titanic – the trip started out great but…
