Jedi Academy at WDW?

Hello all, I have a quick question for the experts on the site. I thought some time ago I had read that there is a Jedi Academy show in Disney Studios outside of the Star Tours ride. However, I have been seeing quite a bit of information about the show in Disneyland. Was there ever a WDW version, or was it all in my head?

My 6-year old is crazy about Star Wars, and I'm hoping that the Jedi Academy does in fact exist at WDW. Any insight is greatly appreciated!

There is a show, but it only takes place during the Star Wars weekends during May-June.

There is in fact a Jedi Training Acadamy during Star Wars Weekends. A six year old munchkin would be about the perfect age for the acadamy. May the force be with you. Er... um... him...

I try not to feed the rumor mills... They have enough keeping them going on their own. When I see something in print, I report on it. Too many people seem to have friends that are imagineers...

Sometimes I think to myself, 'wow, these imagineers sure do have a lot of buddies... Their black books must be HUGE!'

And I always suggest not to feed the little trolls... It's such a pesky chore to try to get rid of them once they've had a taste...

The Jedi Training Academy is coming to the Studios permanently.

I have heard the same rumblings myself. Last year they started the Jedi Training academy several weeks before SWW and it was rumored to be a permanent addition from that point on, however is went away when SWW ended. I don't know why it ended at that point but you can pretty much guarantee its return for SWW this year. Unless something changes SWW will run the last 2 weekends in May and the first 2 in June.

Simon is great. I find it funny when people make fun of his accent. I've heard someone tell him he needs to 'work on the cheesy Brittish accent...' :hammer:
