OK, who got up at 5:00 am this morning and got the free JC Penney's Disney Snowglobes?

This is the 5th year we did this and it was worth getting up that early, especially when you avoid the huge crowds later in the day.

We've been getting them since 2003 and now have the 2006 one too. Does anyone know how long have they been giving them away?

OK, so here are the pictures of the JC Penny Disney Snowglobes. Our collection started in 2002 till 2006.

These two are from 2002 and 2003

These next two are from 2004 and 2005

And this last one is from this year, 2006.

They are very cute (about a couple of inches tall), and make a rather striking display on a coffee table during the holidays (assuming you don't have small children). I don't know how far back they have done this.

It appears that 2002 might be the first year they did this. Hope this is true, which means that some of us here have the full set.

JC Penney Christmas Snow Globes

Hello everyone. Came across this site trying to find out when JC Penney's started the Disney Christmas Snowglobes. We started collecting them in 1999 I think. We have 3 previous globes that we got sometime before the 2002 one. I posted pictures below. The first one is of Winnie The Pooh in a santa hat hugging Piglet. The second one is Mickey Mouse holding a wreath and the other one is Minny Mouse with her hand up holding a piece of mistletoe. They don't have dates on them like the other ones so that's why I'm not sure of the years. We can't remember if we skipped a year or not so not sure if we have the full collection. Hmmm, seems like I'll have to continue my research, lol! :xmas:

Thanks for the info. Looks like they had snowglobes before, but didn't appear to be something that they thought would be part of a series. Those three look like they belong together.
