Japan gets a new building (and other stuff!)

Got lots of update photos to upload.

But, in breif..

Japan is getting a whole new 2-story building.
What's up with Wonders?
The Wand is rusting.
No one ever paints Innoventions.
Or the showcase plaza bridge.
Refurb walls in SSE postshow.
And a look at an empty planter.

Those exciting stories and more, in a few minutes, or however long it takes me to crop, resize, photoshop, and upload.

Okie, here goes Japan...

So, a spol, okie, nothing exciting, right?

But what's that off to the side? It looks like a new building.

It is a new building!

So let's try another angle.

And pan a little over and you can see how it connects to the current building...

Hmm, fascinating. So, of course it's time to run downstairs and peek throuh a crack..

And peer over a wall..

Ok, so that's not so interesting, but it peeks over the trees between Japan and Morroco. Oo.. aah..

Okie, over at Spaceship Earth, we have a mini-wall, probably to install permanent railings to protect the sphere from humanity.

And off to Wonders, where the planter is all torn up, there's crap laying around everywhere, and i just can't see inside..

And i have no idea what this thing is..

But it looks like a mini-crane. It can pivot between the horizontal and verticle bar and has a hand crank. I have no idea what the tingies on the one end are. *shrug* More soon.

Fascinating pictures of Japan, although it really is hard to tell what's going on there. I presume you previously found a permit regarding that? I have yet to hear a thing about building on Japan, even anticipated building, so this is either really odd, or something I missed.

It suprised me too. I had heard of rumor of a small building that would be a kitchen type area - possibly even connected to Morroco - but this sucker is 2 stories tall and stuck onto the side of the building.

I dunno, but I do know this needs to be painted.

And those skylight things ontop of Innoventions are falling apart - paint them!

They're falling apart, and yeah, these are ground level shots, but you can plainly see them from the monorail. Someone please paint them!

Hmmm... Perhaps they don't want irrigation water to seep into what's below the planter? This looks kinda near where the Innoventions tunnel is. Maybe they've been getting drips downstairs? Or perhaps it's to fill in any cracks so that the roots of the trees and plants don't burrow their way downward?

Onto the Ugly Wand. With an ugly discolored spot..

That's not from my camera, nor a reflection, it's actually discolored.

And it's even looking a little chipped in places, and the eye catchers are falling off the stars.

Whoo, way to maintain a hunk of junk! Looks like rust..

Yep, that's rust at the joints and bolts..

I wonder if rusted bolts are hard to undo when you take it down...

No worries, maybe it'll fall down because of the rust.

Because everyone wants to see a rusted steel strucutre looming over them, so rusted that the paint is bubbling up.

Well, atleast it wont last much longer.
