January ticket discount

Are the discounts on tickets generally comparable throughout the year? We are going in January and we are trying to get a general idea of ticket cost for 3 others that will be joining us so they can save (2 broke college students and our neice). We have given them the full price already just so they know but just wondering when they might release ticket promos for January. I didn't see ticket history on mousesavers. The promo offer right now it would be a 3 day ticket (even though we would only need 2 park days) with park hopper would be $308.

I would be shocked if they have any offers, demand is so high right now, they do not need to offer anything and they are still selling out most resorts that are open, I hope they do, but my gut says they will not

We figured the florida resident rate would be our best bet anyways.

FWIW, touringplans has a ticket price tool that can identify which authorized reseller has the best rates for your dates and situation. It's helped us shave a few dollars off of our tickets in the past -- over $200 in savings for our last trip, in fact (buying 5-day parkhoppers at a non-Florida-resident rate).

Just click "show advanced options" when filling out the form and there will be a checkbox to indicate that you're a Florida resident, and say "yes" to whether third-party vendors are okay.

I tried the link but it looks like they want a minimum of 4 days? We only need two.

Discounts, that’s funny, but I do love the optimism…..

They are running a summer discount for florida residents right now that I found. $198 for 2 days with park hopper. I'm hoping they have that in January 😁
Oh yes, the Florida resident non discount, discounts, yea its slightly better than no discount. Every dollar saved can now be used to buy Genie + and Lighting Lane..

It's actually $110 cheaper but I doubt we would use it for that stuff....I'm not a huge fan of all these changes. Paid parking at resorts is annoying enough.
