Hey all,
I just saw this posted on mousesavers.com and hadn't heard anything about it yet, so I thought I would post it here for you guys!

Hope someone can use this and enjoy!

Hey,
Sorry for the double post! Wanted to share a quick update about this. I didn't book the package, but I did book room only with an AP discount for $59 for our Jan 3-8 trip and Feb 9-12 trip!

I got the Disney Visa card back in April for these types of discounts and things, but they never send anything in my bill about them, and they never show them online in "My Disney World" offers. How do you find out that you can get a discount without having to find out about it through a 3rd party website? Help!

I have been asking myself the same thing. I never get anything from Visa specifically. I have checked my offers and requested the emails and everything.

I just gave up and rely on this website and mousesavers for discounts!

Ditto with the above. I've been checking daily...DAILY. I never see anything through Chase or Disney. I get all my info from Pam @ Kingdom Konsultants or mousesavers.com. It bothers me to some extent, but then again, as long as i get the info somehow, I can't complain too much.

BTW, I booked this discount (well, Pam actually did) and it saved our group almost $100pp at Pop Century--And we're a Grand Gathering of 24!!!

I just called Chase myself and they said they were not aware of this discount. I asked the lady how was I supposed to find out about Disney Visa holders discounts, and she said she didn't know, that maybe Disney was putting them out specifically and not notifying them. Either way, someone out there is dropping the ball somewhere.

Wow, that is really strange that she said they didn't know anything about it. But that would make sense seeing how there is no information on their website about it.

I didn't know about it when I called yesterday on a chance that they might have some specials going on. I asked the Cast member and he told me about the Visa deal and I rebooked with him and cancelled my resv with Disney sports. They also upgraded my room at the Wilderness Lodge to a Courtyard view.

We just booked a package last week for that time period (and used our Disney Visa) but didn't know of the code. Does anyone know if we can call in and ask to have the discount applied to our reservation?

The code was just announced on Tuesday exclusively for Visa card holders and then on Wednesday or Thursday it was opened to the general public. Try calling to see if you can get the discount applied to your reservation. It would depend if there are still rooms at the resort of your choosing still available at the discount price. Disney only allots a certain amount of rooms for the discount price and once they are gone...they're gone. A few years ago, 2003 I think, I got word of a discount a little after it was released. We booked ASM originally, but the discounted rooms were sold out when I called to see if I could get the discount. I was told there were still rooms available at ASSp, so we switched. No biggie. What I'm saying is it couldn't hurt to call. Good Luck!

Was able to make the switch this morning. Ended up saving about $75 on each room at Pop and got the Hopper upgrade, so it was a pretty good deal!
