Hi everyone! And so the countdown begins....with my family returning in 162 days! We are staying at PORS for the first time January 18th - January 25th. When and where is everyone else staying in January?

Applied the Eat, Play, & Dine tonight (through Disney Visa Code) for our January trip! Also got to book Wishes Dessert Party! Things are starting to look good...now just have to wait until it's time to choose magicbands and book fastpasses!

Thanks to the Visa Cardholder deal, we've upgraded from POFQ to Wilderness Lodge for 1/5-1/13. w00t!

Used the $612 that I saved and booked the Wild Africa Trek. Which btw I got a 20% discount on using my Disney Visa so I got a $975 trek for 5 for $168 after the 20% discount and repurposing the $612 that I saved Happy Day!!!!

January 2nd through January 9th at all star movies... Waited almost an hour trying to get to a cm and get the discount for the 5th-9th but couldn't get trough. Hopefully saving a couple bucks after that though!

I have already been on the phone with them twice today. First time NO wait, second time was about 7 minutes. Waits are much shorter than yesterday, I waited almost 3 hours for my friend.

My DH - who has never been to WDW - and I are doing my condo at Vacation Villa 18th through the 25th also. I heard that "Splash Mtn" will be down. BOOO!!! I still plan to bite the ears off of a Mickey Premium bar !!

Staying at Old Key West studio Jan. 1st-9th, 2014. We rented points through David's and can't wait! Got flights out of Madison, WI. For the 1st time ever. $218, and we won't have to mess with Chicago or Milwaukee!

No it will not. Marathon has minimal impact on crowds.
