I have already booked a package for Feb 2006, do you think Disney will credit me with the discount?:p

If its available at the resort, for the dates, yadda yadda, yes, probably. Just cant be within a pentalty period - cant say for sure not knowing you exact ressie and rules. 99% yes.

Well, they won't credit him, he'd have to call and ask them to change him over to the promotion.

I just called the reservations to see if we could get the discount even though we had already booked, and WE DID! It only took about $100 off the entire price of the trip, but with that we got the package that includes Water parks, park hoppers, Pleasure Island, Disney Quest and no expiration date on the tickets. The upgrade on the tickets was the free part! I'm so excited now!

mousesavers has some good infor:

especially this tip:

You can buy any length (1-day through 10-day) tickets with this offer, regardless of the length of stay. However, if you plan to visit Walt Disney World again in the near future, the best deal is to get the package with 10-day tickets and add the No Expiration feature at an additional cost. That way you'll get the extra Water Park Fun & More and park hopper features added for free and you can save any unused days and features for use on a future trip!

Just call them up and ask about the package, let them know you already booked. I have done this before and got the discount price.

Does anyone know if this information can be found?
As I have already booked my trip for Feb and would like to take advantage of this deal.

Just call them and ask for it. Give them the code you want to use, and you're good to go.

So are the only benefits here free upgrade to Park Hopper ($35) and Water Park option? Not that great if you're not going to be using the water parks (Jan-Mar isn't the best time to be in a bathing suit)

We have a reservation for POR on Jan 8th - Jan 15th. They would allow me to you the discount, but they would have had to move me to an open resort, in this case it would have been PO french quarter.

So I passed on it.

Disney has some great deals of late. thats good but is it hurting their bottom line?

Actually they really haven't had very many good deals. The Dreammaker and Fairytale packages of 2003/2004 were great deals. The Magic Kingdom Club discounts of 1999/2000 were great deals. The spring and fall fantasy packages of 2001 were very good deals. This year has been very sparse on deals. I really don't consider the dining package a worthy deal. It's fine if you eat 3 meals a day, plus a snack, but for us, it wasn't very attractive.
