Jan/Feb Visits

It's a ways off, but we're planning on visiting WDW the last week of Jan/first week of Feb in 2014. Would those here say that it a good time to visit? I'm also excited about the idea that some sort of free dining offer would be available as well. Based on past promotions, would you say that is possible as well?

We usually go first week of Feb. The weather is great and crowds are low. There was no free dining the week we went. It was the two weeks on either side. I believe the free dining is for filling empty rooms?? Someone please correct me if I'm wrong.

Been there is Jan twice before kids. Good time to go. Crowds are light since kids recently went back to school from holiday break and prices are cheaper. The only downside is it could be a little on the cold side. Night time temps could dip into the 40s or even 30s if you hit a cold spell. The average is probably 70s during the day and low 50s at night. We didn't do waterparks on either trip but the pools are heated so even if it's chilly you can still get in a quick dip.

I think Presidents Day weekend starts the peak spring season so the first 2 weeks of Feb should be pretty empty as well as Jan.
