jan 10-18 or jan 24-feb 2 2014?

We're planning ahead for our next trip, and are trying to figure out which week will be better for crowds. Keeping in mind that MLK day will be on the 20th, will that make the earlier week more crowded than going after? The only other factor in this is that the 2nd week will take a few more DVC pts since it overlaps into the higher bracket starting Feb 1st. I don't know for sure if the marathon will be the weekend of the 10th or the weekend before, but we went this year during marathon weekend and the crowds were nice. The crowds are the #1 dealmaker/breaker for us, as we have no other school/work obligations that would affect our dates. Any thoughts or experience anyone can share would be greatly appreciated!

We always go the last week of Jan/first week of Feb and the crowds are perfect. Our trip this year is Jan 25-Feb 5. Last trip (Jan 2012) most rides were walk-on with the exception of course the weekends were a little busier. The weather is cool, it barely rains and there's lots of sunshine. I can't say how busy the other week is.

We have been the last week of Jan and basically you own the parks. The weather is usually nice. the only reason we will not be there this year is the RV is in a snow bank and we want to stay at F W.
