I hate to be the one to inject some facts into mindless discussion, but without further ado...
-Her boyfriend is 18, not 19. He was born on April 29, 1989. There is no trouble, they are less than two years apart, probably like the average person with their spouse.
-Not illegal at all.
-Zoey 101 is done, not because of Jamie Lynn Spears, but because it's over. They just recently finished filming the fourth and final season of Zoey. It premieres in February.
-Nickelodeon supports her 100%, they are going to come out with a special on teen pregnancy with Linda Ellerbee who has broken news to kids regarding AIDS, same ______ (err... gender?) parents, Columbine, etc. (remember Nick News?)
-She's sixteen, I understand. It is flawed, but normal nonetheless. I know a few sixteen year olds that are no longer virgins. Parents, you can never be sure. Their parents have no idea at all. They are clueless and these are good, wholesome, close families.
-She's famous, rich, and gorgeous. I'm not sure if I'm saying this how I would like to, but it's pretty much expected that she's having ______.
-She's been dating 18 year old Aldridge for two and a half years.
-It wasn't a planned baby, everyone makes mistakes. She's being a responsible individual and she's keeping the baby. She's not aborting it, respect her for that at least. No one has any proof that she didn't use protection. Simply put: ________ happens.
-Finally, it's really out of character to call someone dumb, or a ________, skank, , etc if you don't know them. Celebrity or not. It's not good for your character.
-She's being a really respectful, resposible individual. Read her interview with OK! Weekly, she's not selling herself rather than setting the record straight. It was done extremely tastefully, and Jamie-Lynn is more down to earth, relaxed, and mature than you think.
-She did not sell herself to a tabloid, when you read the interview, you will realize why she went to OK! If the tabloids (including OK!) got a hold of it, they would have ripped her to shreds, like everyone else is enjoying doing without getting facts first. This way her true story is out there with her side. Plus, stars usually go to OK! for various things. Eva Lo was there with her first wedding pictures and news.
Food for thought, huh?
As for Britney, she's a little harder to defend. Few people really think about her life, they just read headlines and shrug them off with a "she's nuts". So she's made her fair share of mistakes, but we all have and during those times, we were not taped and thrown online. Britney is taped, every waking public moment of her life. Where ever she goes, people will follow her. There is nothing she can do. Her clothes get ripped when she tries to get Starbucks. There are hundreds of people surrounding and taping a human being trying to get coffee... so interesting and newsworthy, huh? I understand she has gotten a lot in return, but sometimes you have to feel bad. I mean, we all have the freedom to go to Starbucks and get coffee without being watched by millions of people. She was just a teenage girl that wanted to be famous, we all have dreams (we're on a Disney forum here). Her dream was to be famous, something simple, no one knew she would turn out to be a ______ symbol and cultural icon.
