Jabba's Hutt to be behind RnRC this year

I must received a Passholder email stating that the Star Wars merchandise location (Jabba's Hutt) will be behind Rock n' Rollercoaster this year.

This is the first I've heard of SWW merchandise being in this location. Is this a tent? Will Wicket's Warehouse still be in the Soundstage?

Wouldn't surprise me if it was a tent. There is space back there they use for other events, I believe some of the ESPN stuff is held back there as well.

But it would be a perfectly logical location for it to be. If it is all the way over there it helps to greatly spread out the crowds. Anything to seperate the masses should be helpful if it is as crowded as people think it will be.

Will Wicket's Warehouse still be in the Soundstage?

The tent is the only place you will get the SWW exclusive stuff, last year they had some of the more "open" stuff out in other spots. But there is no Wicket's, that has not been since at least two years ago, last year it was at the exit shop of the backlot tour (dumbest place for it!).

Thanks for the info folks.

So I'm guessing that means SW meet & greets will be taking place down Sunset Blvd. for the first time as well. Makes sense since they've lost so much of the space where McQueen is and Phineas and Ferb are going. Smart to spread everything out too.

Nice photos, but these don't do the size of this tent justice (at least not IMHO). Was there last week, you can see peeks of the tent through the greenery in the RnRC queue and the tent is absolutely enormous. I've seen other photos taken by folks last week (Hi Darcy from StarTours2Live) and even those don't seem to give a good sense of the scale of the tent.

Or it could have just been the fact that you really can't see the whole thing :shrug: and what you see looks bigger. Either way, no SWW for me this year.

it appears they are using the big tent I last saw used in the wonder parking lot for the CM holiday season blow out sale a few years ago... that was HUGE with plenty of space for merchandise, granted they need iot for storage as well as part of the queue as well... after all remember how bad the queue gets during mornings of star wars weekends. I assume they are looking at that right now and thinking about another tent just for that

Thanks for the info and photos, however, can someone please say conclusively how the 'h you get there?!?! (for those of us who aren't backstage savvy) Is this indeed accessed from Sunset Blvd?
