I am traveling to Shreveport, LA this weekend for my brothers wedding and I will have a few days in town before and want to know where to eat. I love small local places so please don't recommend a big chain joint. I like places that serve local food and serve it well. Whenever I travel I try to seek out the best local grub but I'm having a hard time with Shreveport.

Has anyone ever been there or live there now and know a great place for me to try?

I used to hang out some there when in college.
If it is still there, try Superior Grill for Mexican Food.
They also have a locale in Baton Rouge.
