When EPCOT 1st opened all the attractions had good catchy music, that you would come out singing. I still remember the songs and have copies of them. Little by little the music has disappeared. The boat attraction in the Land is interesting, but not the same without the music that originally went with it. In one part of the Imagination attraction you would hear the song Making Memories. It isn't there anymore.

It's the best group of music Disney has ever produced, imho.

Spaceship Earth - Tomorrow's Child

The Land - Listen to the Land

Journey Into Imagination - One Little Spark

World of Motion - Fun to be Free

Horizons - New Horizons

Universe of Energy - Universe of Energy

Universe of Energy - Energy

We used to go on it when I was young... I always fell asleep. I'm sure I would enjoy it now. It just seems like I never have enough time these days.

DS and I discovered it during his 3rd trip, it on a day DW wanted to just "chill" at the pool. This was during the year of a million deams campaign, at the end of the ride a castmember jumped on the boat and asked if we were having a magical day? Then he said well it's going to get more magical and gave us all a golden fastpass for EPCOT. DS and I spent the whole day at Epcot and had a great time. Boy was DW angry that she missed it.

It's been an audio recording for, goodness, probably well over a year or more now. It's no longer a live CM in your boat that narrates.

That stinks! We have not been to WDW since 2008 and leave this Friday for a 7-day visit. I always kind of enjoy the human element on the rides and will miss this one :(. I hope they NEVER do that with the jungle cruise!

I would not worry too much about JC skippers being replaced anytime soon. Unlike the narrators on LWTL they are a big part of the attraction and JC skipper is a very sought after role. LWTL CM was not and they were running into serious capacity issues due the attraction being understaffed. The pre recorded audio is clearer, provides a consistent level of quality and allows the attraction to run at full capacity with much less staff. It was one of the few attractions where replacing a CM was a positive change.

I really miss the personal attention of a live broadcast..

I really thought that the land ride was disappointing this past year.. the veggies were very thin.. there was little to see..

the big "tomato plant " or what ever it was on the upper net was gone..

there were very few fish..

it was half of what it normally is..
and I miss the song..

Well, that's the great thing about agriculture- one year's paucity is another's overabundance.....

Honestly I just love the land Pavillion period. One of our favorite things to do there is to go on the behind the seeds tour. Living with the land is a very relaxing ride that has some very educational things to see. Then throw in Sorin and eating at the garden grille. The show food rocks was great back in it's time. To bad it's not there any more. Also the food court is very good there. We always spend a good amount of time in this pavillion. Now if they could just get the Imagination pavillion back to where it belongs would just be bliss.
