Ugh...downloading all my TurboTax updates :brick: - I'm switching everything over to the laptop, since it's likely we'll be replacing the desktop sometime next year. Also want to set up PTG records on here.....so that's my plan today. What's up with everyone else today?

trying to get everything cleaned up so we can close out our year tomorrow. I am going to do what I can to help with that today so I can stay out of the way and work on filing tomorrow. Tonight I have to bring up boxes to start taking down my Christmas stuff
. It feels like I haven't had it up very long this year. But I bought some super cute beach kids stuff at Yankee Candle over the weekend on 80% off so I am kind of ready. My mom was laughing at me she said I was going from Christmas to Summer.

Mike's income went up this year, due to a raise...so I'm not sure what filing taxes will be like on Turbo this time....if all else fails, I have a friend whose hubby is a CPA, and can plead for his assistance. :shrug:

That's good at least you have a back up plan. I usually file the 1040-EZ no expenses or dependants so mine is pretty easy. I usually do it myself which is always a little scary, but it's just one form so it is not too bad.

My mom does them too for her and my Dad, her antique business, and my brother. It's always a lot of paperwork to get together.
How exciting! I was just talking to my friend who was at Disney in Nov.and sharing all our Disney info together. Also talked to her about PTG stuff - now that the new year is almost here the next book fair is looking much closer, so I was doing a little pre-planning with that.

The kids had reserved a hotel suite in DTD for the 4 of us, but when we mentioned the idea of a condo to them, DD did some checking and found a great price for a 3 bedroom place for us. We were going to rent a car anyway, so it ends up saving quite a bit and we'll have more room, and our own hot tub!
