I am back. We took 20 rools of pictures, now I just have to get them developed. we had a blast. I will post a whole trip report when I get a chance.
to sum it up
Disney was Awesome, universal was just ok. though I miss Mr. toad, Pooh rocks and I think Pooh is a beter ride. Carosel of progress was running and we got to see it. Buzz lightyear totally blows away men in black from universal. We wnt to the luau and watched the fireworks from the beach, we ate a cinderellas royal table during the fireworks, and had a romantic dinner at alfreados in epcot. we stayed at the dolphin hotel. the hotel was fablous. Disney fastpass is the greatest thing since sliced bread. we didn't wait in line for more then 5 to 10 minutes. what we would do is get a fast pass wait in one line ride a ride and 5 minutes after the on fast pass expires we could get another so we would walk and get a second fast pass then go ride the ride we got our first fast pass for, and so on. Express pass in universal is terrible. you had to wait 10 minutes at an express pass machine to wait another 10 minutes in line after you use the express pass because people who stay at a universal hotel can also use the express pass lane without geting a ticket, so the express pass lanes were almost as long as the walk on lanes. go figure. Disney is doing lots of rehab and it shows. the park hasn't looked this good in a few years. and the service atdisney is still top notch. The bathrooms were always clean, if trash started to overflow there was someone immediatly there to take care of it. unlike universal where while you wail online for a ride they had candy bar machines, but they must only change the garbage once a day because there was garbage everywhere and the cans were over filled with garbage. and forget the bathrooms at universal they are just disgusting. as you can tell we wern't too thrilled with universal. and universal was all thrill rides. Jurassic park was named on of the top 3 rides in the us. now Idon't do drops very well so I assumed there was a boat ride with a story behind it and cool dinasours comming out at you but noooooo. the shove you in a boat they rais you up bring you around a beend and drop you. all I saw was 1 dinosaur. I was totally disappointed. we went to nimal kingdome for the first time and me and my wife both love this park. there are little trails everywhere you go animals etc. we could spend hours in that park just walking the trails. and the park is nice and shaded, really made you feel like you were in a jungle. our trip was great. expect more info soon.
