A fan-favorite program that's aired on Disney World resort TVs for the past 15 years has seemingly been retired.
reported on Saturday that "Must Do Disney," which starred host Stacey J. Aswad, has now been replaced with a new show that helps parkgoers decide how to spend their vacations at the Orlando, Florida, theme park.
The publication noted that "Must Do Disney" - which first aired in 2005 - was previously moved from a main resort TV channel in 2020 to one that previously aired the Spanish-dubbed version of the show.

The show, which has been posted by some Disney fans on YouTube, showed Aswad enjoying Disney World's four parks. She talked about the best rides, places to eat, and more throughout the series.

After the news broke, some Disney fans shared online that they're sad to see such a signature part of their vacations disappear. Others thanked Aswad for her role in creating the series.

Aswad has since taken to Twitter and Instagram to reflect on the series.

"From the bottom of my heart, thank you all for 15 years of unforgettable magic!" Aswad wrote. "I'm truly honored to be a part of your happiest times. I treasure the love and kindness you've always shown me. The memories we've shared will last a lifetime, so grateful. Thank you! Love you all! 💜💗♥️ "

Representatives for Stacey J. Aswad did not immediately respond to Insider's request for comment.

I will miss it. It always felt like part of the experience when arriving to our resort room. Stacey had great energy and made the show fun. Yet I am not surprised it is going away. Do they really need programs like this with all the info people can get through the internet, YouTube, social media? Yes we enjoyed the show, but I can't remember ever watching it and saying "Oh, I didn't know about this or that..." We knew of all the new must see's and do's from other media. I'm sure it helped inform some people new to WDW, but for most it was probably just a fun watch, not to research what's new.

Again, I will miss it, but can understand the removal.

Aaannnd Here's what replaced it:banghead:....And noticed No Typhoon Lagoon being mentioned..

Not saying this new voice host did a bad job by any means, but now it seems so cardboard and like any generic travel ad compared to Stacey's enthusiasm and cheerfulness seen before.
Stale soggy carboard:cry::cry::cry::cry::cry: Edit: Just about unwatchable:cry::cry::cry::cry:

I guess they save some money this way by doing a voiceover over stock footage rather than filming an actress actually doing the stuff. I agree with everyone that that was a nice touch. But also it doesn't really make sense anymore when all the info you need is on the app.

Depressing. This was always an upbeat show to watch and we sometimes let it play while we got ready in the morning.

To me this is just more "Disney Diminished". I see it as unlikely that Disney will ever be as good as it was only 2 years ago.
Playing Stacy in the morning before a Disney day was an absolute MUST DO.😊

Typical WDW to get rid if their emotionally connected material and replace it with something much cheaper and soulless.

Cmon WDW wake up and return to differentiate yourself from other soulless corps.

This is something we truly miss when we return to Disney property resorts. We always turned on this each time we get back from the parks and it just gave us that "Disney" feeling. We missed that "Livin' it Up" song and hearing about the "Disney Must-Do's". We keep hoping it will return. We really really really miss this show.

They have a new Must Do Disney… it’s called “Can’t miss Disney”. It just feels off… it’s like a commercial. Although Must Do Disney was essentially a commercial, it just felt fun and it hyped you up for the parks. It didn’t feel like a commercial like the new show does…

It also is weird to use a bunch of different influencers as the hosts instead of one host that sticks with you for the whole show.

It's the sad state of society that we need to hear it from tik tokkers and youtubers instead...
OMG yes!!! I would much rather have people who weren't social media influencers. They all say their tag names like I should know who the heck they are or care what they say. Nope, I turn the channel which I have to say I end up watching the one where imagineers talk about the rides and the making of them.

With Must Do Disney... If felt like Stacey really loved going on the rides and being in the parks and loved sharing with us what we must do. It was like she was our friend.

These influencers just seem too fake. And I agree about not having one host and the bunch of them.
Disney's old Planning video's over the years went back and forth with the same whats in their videos too. They had years were it was one, then 3 and one again. There was also a year where they had several mommy bloggers on too, I think it was before they had the mom's (parents) planning panel group.

Come on! Everybody is doing it! Join us! We're the beautiful people!

And under their breath; "ka-ching suckers"
And with each one posting their "surprised face" after they ate all of X at X is going to get you to throw your credit card to Patreon and to suckle your teet for them to have more fun than you are having sitting there watching them eating a sandwich that you paid for...
