Trip Report It's been 6 years and a global pandemic, but we are back!

Our last trip to WDW was during the summer of 2014. We have since visited six European countries and traveled across the USA (more than once), but we are ready to return to Disneyworld! We began planning over a year ago, fresh on the heels or our latest European adventure. We asked our kids where they wanted to go next summer (2020), Europe or Disney, and they chose Disney (thankfully as we would not be allowed to travel to Europe this summer). I have to say, as much as I enjoyed our visits to Europe, I'm very excited to return to Walt Disney World. So many of our early family adventures were to Disney and I'm excited to be there again now that our kids are older. So much to share since our last visit, and so much to say about our upcoming trip. So much has changed since our original reservation, including a global pandemic. Updates soon!

Smart to post your report as you go. No way you could remember what you did once you get home with all that beer...
🍻. Other than this site and untappd, I have no social media. These posts are our family album of this trip. It’s fun doing it then re-reading them in the future. It’s cool seeing how the kids have changed.
And I hear you on the beer. I spent most of our two weeks in Europe last year with a beer in my hand. I may have lost my camera in Bratislava 🤦‍♂️ (Later found in small shop where I left it), and eventually broke it in Dürnstein (camera still broken with many pictures lost). 🤷‍♂️ But man the beer was good 🍺

Good morning. Getting ready for our second day at Epcot, but I just wanted to add a few points on yesterday since it was our last day at Animal Kingdom. It was our first time in Pandora and it was great!. Both rides were impressive and for different reasons. The entire area is so well themed. Flight of Passage is easily one of the best rides in Disneyworld. Although Na''vi River is not a thrill ride, we really enjoyed it. It was a nice break after riding FOP.

Dinosaur and Everest are always fun. Even better when there is little or no wait (mostly no). Kali is so much better without getting drenched! We enjoyed our trips on the Safari, but with the dividers up between rows there isn't much air flow and it can get hot.

Nomad lounge is really good. Satu'li Canteen was good as well, but count compare to Nomad.

Ok, need to get ready. Thanks for following along.
