We went the first time we were at WDW and we weren't impressed. After looking at the new menu it just might warrant a revisit.

I've heard so many bad things that I'm not sure I'd ever go! Maybe if I heard something drastically differently between now and my next trip.

I just read that review too. Still think I would rather eat elsewhere, but nice to know it has gotten a bit better.

It's good to know he menu has changed, but we have still eaten here for dinner (burgers usually) pretty often. Mainly because it is the only air conditioned place for QS that does not make us want to wretch (Pizza Planet ).

We need time for things to happen.
I have to confess...even with the bad press i read about this place we eat here for lunch once a trip.
My son (who is a picky a$$ eater) has some strange fondness for this place.
There was obviously never anything to write home about with this place but I never found it really that much more offensive than the average counter service.
Now Pizza Planet...that's s different story...aggggh..

We've eaten there once or twice, and like others have said, have never been very impressed. But will give it another shot the next time we are there.

I have a love/like relationship with the DFB. I enjoy reading it and seeing new/different food items. But I really don't feel like I can trust their reviews. They have such a pro-Disney spin. It's rare for them to give anything but a rave review. And when they do give less than stellar marks, they are still pretty glowingly positive. This is a prime example. I have never seen the Commisary get such a nice write-up even if it amounts to "it's not as terrible as you have heard".

OK, I guess I am n the minority here. We have lunch there everytime we go to DHS. This past trip we were not in the right area for it so we didn't but we enjoy it. The cake is great and my hubby loves their burgers. They even make him a double!!o_O

I have to admit, I have a strange love affair with that chicken curry. The service there is downright awful - I don't think I've ever made it out without some sort of issue - but I loved that darn curry. They serve a similar item at Tusker House, but obviously ABC Commissary was a cheaper/easier option.

Now that it's gone, I no longer have to "suffer" through the boring atmosphere and poor service (first world problems, right? ;)). I just told my fiancé that he's off the hook for being dragged in there now. Now that the Backlot Express is open more regularly, we've started going there. I've become attached to their grilled vegetable sandwich (which means it'll be gone in a month - just the way my luck works).

My husband has a bizarre love for the ABC Comm. He mostly likes it because there are always seats available. I've never been able to eat there because there weren't any veggie options, but it looks like that's changed. Still looks pretty boring to me for some reason. I prefer the Backlot Express for the grilled vegetable sandwich or a veggie burger at Rosie's ... or, let's face it, anywhere with onion rings. :D

Pizza Planet...it is a cool atmosphere but the last time I ate there (granted it was 5 years ago) the pizza was just awful!! My son got a kick out of it and had fun in there but the pizza....ick!!
