Once again, it was a Disney IP Christmas in our household.

Star Wars - 2 drones ( X wing & TIE fighter), the new R2 Sphero droid and a Wamba snow cave snow globe.

Marvel (all Spidey and for my son-in-law) - a Spiderman apron, spatulas and cookie cutter set (from the Willams Sonoma kids cooking collection) and Spiderman drone. Presented in a Spiderman kid's chest I found at Burlington.

For my daughter, the beautiful porcelain Belle Arabas Brothers sell in their shop on Main Street. And a Mickey Mouse cookie jar I got them for last year, but forgot to give.

Other than the TIE fighter, ALL the SW stuff was for me. :D

Here's the X wing drone from the SW Battle Drone collection. I wish the video would upload (too big a file). When I took the box lid off, the stand lighted up and it started to play John Williams' theme. And it plays several scenes from New Hope and Jedi. I was pumped about the drone...the extra features nearly made me cry with joy.

I'm almost afraid to fly it, it's so beautiful. Now, if only they had a Falcon in the collection.... :inlove:

Well, we were in DW until xmas eve (2 weeks), so I was able to buy all my own gifts, and my kids picked out what they wanted. My favorite: Ghost portraits of my kids from Memento Mori with frames = priceless. Also the Haunted Mansion Imagineering book (yes, there is a theme here.). My boys got loads of stuff from Pandora (it's their new favorite). I got the bag (for the cool pics of Pandora) and a puzzle. Also, the souvenir mugs from Jungle Skipper Canteen and Liberty Tree Tavern, they are metal and cool. Star Wars name tags, with your name written in aurebesh, was a must. Every new Stitch pin (oldest boy). Haunted Mansion silk tie (younger boy, at my behest). Numerous trips to German Pavilion for pretzels (like a gift, only one you don't wrap and get to enjoy immediately. I dream of them.). Basically every day was christmas. It's the 27th and we haven't had xmas at home yet - DH had to go to work xmas day, so xmas for us will the 30th. The 29th is xmas eve - Santa will be coming!

As our Disney honeymoon is in just 22 short days, my family was so generous with the Disney gifts this year!

We got both Disney and Starbucks gift cards and Mickey Mouse pajamas. My wonderful parents got me a purse from the new Cath Kidston x Disney line. My husband got the black ears hat from Cakeworthy (he's never been excited about a pair of Mickey ears till now). There were lots of stocking stuffers too- Tsum Tsums and some Disney Infinity figurines (never played the game, just love the art design on these).

I was able to surprise my husband with tickets to the Magic Kingdom dessert party on our first night in the parks. For my parents, I reserved them spots on the Behind the Seeds tour at Epcot (they are going to Disney just two weeks before us). It's their first backstage tour of any kind and they were so excited!

Now just to wait 22 days and hope for good weather when we fly out!

As our wedding anniversary, three birthdays (mine and my two daughters'), and Christmas all fall within a three-week span in December and January, there's always lots of Disney gift giving this time of year. For our anniversary I received Mickey-shaped birthstone earrings, each daughter receives a Disney gift card for her birthday, Santa left gift cards for all three kids on Christmas morning, my son got Star Wars dominoes and t-shirts as well, and I opened a beautiful Disney-themed birthday card today. Whew!
