Actually, no--But Tim Burton's Alice didn't exactly start out as Tim's.
It was all that was left after Disney finished mainstreaming an old Dimensions Pictures horror project of Wes Craven adapting the "dark Alice" computer game. Gamers can spot about a half dozen game elements that were still remaining in the final movie.
