I was just curious, but does anyone know what Disney does with all the change that people through into the water? Do they use them for the parks? Or maybe they make other peoples wishes come true by giving them to charity.

I hope the money goes to charity because I know I have thrown a ton of money into the water on Small World wishing to come back again the next year!!

Disney has their own charity but I can't remember what it's called. All the money from the fountains goes to that charity.

The coins are heated until they liquify, the metals are separated, and then:
  • the Copper is added to the drinking water to provide that distinctive taste
  • the Zinc is applied to the IASW dolls to prevent diaper rash
  • the Nickel is used in the production of the ICBMs under the castle.
