William is a Prince. He was given the title Duke of Cambridge when he married. His title is HRH Prince William, Duke of Cambridge. Kate is not a Princess unless the Queens proclaims her a Princess. I really hope perhaps now that she has had the baby the Queen will make her a Princess.

"Duke" is more of an honorary title while "Prince" is a hereditary title.

Then when he becomes a teenager he can change his name to The Prince formerly know as Prince.
