It's 7 degrees here!! Must plan a trip now....

IT'S BEEN A LONG WINTER. I'm sure I'm not alone with this feeling. This morning I decided that I must start planning a trip to WDW. We would like to go soon, as it looks like it's not going to warm up anytime soon. Am checking for April (nothing like waiting until the last minute), and since I already have park tickets that I bought from Undercover Tourist, we can get a room only price. Yay! Now, on to the airline sites.......

Well, had to clear the driveway again and drifting snow meant I had to wade through 2 foot of the white stuff to dig out my garage door by hand and get my snow shovel. The Florida heat can't come quickly enough.

So sorry....I'll take the 7 degrees over the 2 ft. of white stuff.

It sure has been a long winter, OMG! Every week it snows, a little - and each time I think, "yep, this'll be the last time!" WRONG.

As if mama nature wanted to grant me one last )_(#%, it's going to snow (a good bit actually) tomorrow into the evening... I'm getting picked up for the airport Tuesday morning just before 5am!

Guess what I'll be doing out my airplane window as I leave it behind...

Tomorrow I'm eith getting 1-3 or 6-12 weather people are OVER PAID!!!!! Tonight's dinner groundhog shepard's pie! Lots of beer to celebrate another one's demise!

My co-workers and I were discussing the merits of groundhog hunting. Phil was a "fail".

I feel the same way! But our next trip won't be until May 2014, which means I can plan all I want, but it's too early to book anything yet. (We're renting DVC points, so my hands are tied until 11 months out). In the meantime, I'm stalking this board, creating overly-exhaustive "Disney dossiers" with information about the parks for two traveling companions who haven't been before, and day-dreaming about that sweet Florida sun as I sit in a downtown office in frigid Upstate NY, pressing my nose against the window and squinting into the sun-glare off of the remaining snow banks.

Good luck with your trip planning -- the nice thing about waiting until the last minute is that the whole process will feel like a constant, delightful surprise!

I am also planning a trip for May 2014. I'll be taking mt step-sister who has never been.
