No real surprises other than the fact that it looks like they are setting up for Wish in Europe in Summer 2027 while Treasure sails the 7-nighters from PC, Dream goes back to 3- and 4-nighters from PC, and Fantasy takes the 4- and 5-night routes from PC. I like that mix! Love Dream and Fantasy!

Here's a handy guide for the the itineraries:

I think they may struggle with the wish in Europe. It's a big ship to fill at their price point.

Isn’t her capacity same as Dream/Fantasy? They likely think the appeal of a newer ship will drive interest. Meanwhile, Royal puts older and older ships on most itineraries there.

I do think Wish-class is a better ship for areas that aren’t super hot. It would be great in Northern Europe.

Really pumped to be able to choose between Dream and Fantasy again in PC. Glad I convinced the wife to grab a placeholder a couple weeks back.

Bigger ships limit where they can sail to in Europe. Have already seen a change in ports between the Magic and the next size up.

Capacity is the same for the Wish class as the Dream/Fantasy - 4000 max passengers (plus up to 1550 crew). But the Wish class is 14k GT larger and 5 feet longer. Not sure if that effects port availability in Europe or not.

But I agree with @Mr Ferret 75 - Price points for the Wish could be met with resistance.

I am sure I have said this somewhere in the DCL forum but the Wish is coming to Europe because of its 5 year dry dock so it is more of a logistical convenience for them.

I do wonder however if the Wish will be a success in Europe because to me the Wish is a better ship for first time cruises, is very 'Disney' which I think appeals more to children.

The Wish having so many discounts in FL does make me wonder if it isn't getting business from repeat cruisers.

Perhaps, DCL will find success on both ends of the Atlantic during summer 2027 due to scarcity. From Florida, people will be excited to have Dream back for a bit and in Europe, people will be excited for a newer ship.
