Does anyone know why Italy's restaraunt is closing? Just wondering...it may have been brought up already but i could not find it.

Pretty sure it's because the contract is coming up for renewal and either Disney or Alfredos (or both) doesn't want to renew.

AllEarsNet.com reports that the contract will be ending, and Disney is in the process of developing a new Italian eatery for the Italy pavillion.

This is the ADR I'd been debating on squeezing in for my trip... how ironic! Guess I never will get to go *sniffle*

Maybe Disney should replace it with an Olive Garden :hurl: so they can provide cheap soup, salad, and bread sticks to all those dining plan vacation packages they've been over selling! :ROFLOL:

The contract ends I do believe Aug. 31st and they are in the process of developing a new restaurant for that location.
